Data Analyst (d/f/m) for AIRBUS

Your Prospective Job:

You are acting as a Data Analyst (d/f/m) for Quality and Industrial Systems for our client Airbus Operations in Finkenwerder.

Your Responsibilities:

• Processing raw data to ensure data quality
• Applying statistical and analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights from the data
• Data Visualisation as creating charts, graphs, and other visual representations to communicate findings effectively through clear storytelling and also advises users appropriately on this
• Reporting and Presentation, e.g. preparing reports and presentations to share insights with stakeholders
• Tool and Technology Management as utilising and maintaining relevant software and tools for data analysis and visualisation
• Responsible for statistics and probability: be familiar with basic statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, expected values, standard errors, confidence intervals, etc. This is key to be able to draw accurate conclusions from data and avoid biases and wrong decision making
• Ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with internal requirements and external regulations
• Working closely with other teams and departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. Be the interface between their functions, the data ecosystem and the requested solution
• Coaching the function in the data-driven mind-set. Actively contribute and share best practices, findings, and techniques with the wider data community
• Support the Project Leader and Work Package Leaders with:
  • Preparing milestone meetings for management decisions
  • Setting up and implementing action plans
  • Determining 'To Be' solutions
  • Maintaining Project Management tools that are part of the Airbus Business Improvement methodology, such as Stakeholder Management, Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Perform end-to-end Root Cause Analysis when defects, bugs, or inconsistencies occur within the dataset or code (e.g., investigating dataset pipeline failures, data transform errors, or code logic bugs to prevent recurring issues)
  • Stakeholder Facilitation: Lead alignment sessions with stakeholders, users, and management to gather feedback, and to review features

Your Profile:

• Completed studies with a major in industrial engineering, economics, project management, a technical field, or a related discipline
• Professional experience in data analysis, engineering, interface management, IT/information systems, project management, process improvement, and quality management
• Advanced skills in SQL
• Data management and visualization are required
• Knowledge in Skywise is an advantage
• Advanced German and fluent English skills spoken and written
