For our Quality, HSE, Facility and Security Teams in Norderstedt, we are looking for you as
Quality Manager – with responsibility for HSE & Site Operations
unlimited – full time – 40 hour-contract
Are you passionate about quality, safety and operational excellence in a highly regulated aviation environment? Join our Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) organization supporting both civil and military engine services and take on a key leadership role at our Norderstedt site.
As Quality Manager and a member of the Executive Team, you will lead the Quality function and oversee the HSE, Facility Management and Security teams through a dedicated manager. Working closely with the Managing Director in Germany and the central Quality organization in France, you will drive compliance and operational excellence across the site.
Quality Leadership
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System and approvals.
- Act as the primary interface with civil and military aviation authorities, customers and certification bodies.
- Plan, lead and support internal, customer, supplier and regulatory audits.
- Manage SMS events, non-conformities, root cause analyses and corrective action plans.
- Monitor and report quality performance metrics.
- Lead site risk management and anti-corruption activities, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements and ethical business standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and company HSE requirements.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and risk-based approach throughout the organization.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action management.
- Monitor HSE performance and drive improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and environmental protection activities.
Facility & Management
- Oversee facility, security and compliance activities, ensuring safe, efficient and secure site operations.
- Lead facility development, investment and improvement projects.
- Drive facility optimization and cost-efficiency initiatives.
- Manage security risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with customer, military and corporate security requirements.
- Promote security awareness and best practices across the organization.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach and develop your teams.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative and engaged team culture.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Quality Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace quality management or another highly regulated aviation environment.
- Proven experience within an EASA Part-145 organization is required.
- Knowledge of military aviation requirements is highly desirable.
- Experience with EASA Part 21 regulations and processes is considered an advantage.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are an asset.
