Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

As a Legal Counsel, you will be a key member of our Headquarters Legal Team in Gilching, supporting Quantum Systems across a broad range of legal matters. You will partner closely with stakeholders from all departments, enabling business growth while safeguarding the company's interests. With your strong legal expertise and pragmatic mindset, you will help build scalable legal processes, mitigate risks, and protect our innovations in a fast-growing international technology environment.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements in German and English, including customer, supplier, development, licensing, and cooperation agreements.

• Serve as a trusted legal advisor to internal stakeholders across Procurement, Sales, R&D, Product, Operations, and Corporate Functions.

• Provide practical and business-oriented legal guidance on commercial law matters and day-to-day corporate legal topics.

• Support the protection, management, and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, know-how, and licensing activities.

• Identify legal risks early and develop pragmatic solutions that enable business objectives while ensuring compliance.

• Review and further develop legal templates, policies, and internal processes to improve efficiency and consistency.

• Conduct legal research and monitor relevant legislative and regulatory developments affecting the business.

• Support corporate law matters, strategic projects, financing activities, and other cross-functional initiatives as required.

• Contribute to the continued development of a modern, scalable, and business-focused legal function within a rapidly growing technology company.

• Documenting and archiving all legal documents and contracts in a contract database.

What you bring to the team:

• Fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) or a degree in Business Law (LL.B./LL.M.) or a comparable legal qualification.

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience gained in an international company and/or a law firm.

• Strong expertise in commercial and contract law, with the ability to translate complex legal matters into practical business advice.

• Experience in intellectual property law, licensing, technology-related legal matters, or a strong interest in developing further expertise in these areas.

• Sound understanding of corporate legal topics and experience supporting a broad range of internal stakeholders.

• Ability to balance legal risk management with commercial objectives in a dynamic business environment.

• Structured, independent, and hands-on working style combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and a solution-oriented mindset.

• Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
